New SIP plan due end of March-final vote will take place at March meeting

DLI Coordinators Shauna and Ofelia met with Hillcrest administration and staff and were very impressed with how the school is running. They would like to use Hillcrest as an example of how the program should be run to other programs across the state.

• Welcome (3 minutes)
• Review Acadience Math MOY testing (5 minutes)
  • Compared BOY and MOY data. Increase in students that are at the meets or exceeds grade level expectations in 1^st through 3^rd grades and fewer in below grade level as tested by Acadience.
• Update of SIP and funds spent (5 minutes)
  • Math consultant was not as useful as had hoped. We need to spend approximately $25,000.

    • $5000 classroom libraries (K-2)
    • $1000 PBIS materials (rewards, bark bucks)
    • $5500.68 teacher time to plan, scope and sequence
    • $1000 Second Step Supplemental Materials
      • -Discussed iPad for kindergarten and first grade.
• Create new SIP for 23/24 school year (30 minutes)
  • Meet the Masters-art program that is parent led-Tessa Burton volunteered to spearhead this program approx. $2400
  • Subs for teachers for PTC
  • Subs for teachers to plan, scope, and sequence
  • Grants for teachers-Ms. Beers will ask teachers about their needs/wants that may be considered for the new
  • Psych Extern
  • Dance-is it possible to do full-day funding
  • Aides-if they are available to add more progress monitoring
  • Books for classrooms/languages
  • DLI celebrations-possible language goal from AAPPL

  • Larry Williams and Ms. Beer will investigate sponsoring our language teachers
  • Safety concerns with drop off/pickup/parking
